Here's some news from Rob Summerby-Murray:

Saturday January 31
Mount Allison's Society of All Nations, assisted by RSM, introduced 16 international students to the delights of X-C skiing at Sackville's Beech Hill. Lots of spills on excellent snow conditions, redeemed by copious quantities of hot chocolate brewed over a camp stove in the hut. Two people with 'natural talent' (Enrika from Germany and Chica(sp?) from Japan) proved that it is possible to have never skiied before and still manage a creditable 5km loop. More converts being won all the time!

Sunday February 1
In keeping with the gospel truth of ski evangelism, yet another convert to the discipline on Sunday at Beech Hill. New Zealander Rhonda discovered the way, the truth and the light on the tracks of Beech Hill. Tracks looking decidedly worse for wear by late Sunday after a weekend of fairly intensive use and not much fresh snow. Too many ATV tracks in the park but lots of considerate snow-shoers who are doing their bit by preserving the nordic tracks.
